Story
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler lands in a high-profile job she’s not suited for, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. Producers convinced both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the fledgling American Embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018. The UK allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely bestowed on a film or screen production, especially an American one.

Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London next to Buckingham Palace, producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes. I binge-watched The Night Agent thinking it couldn’t get much better, but I was wrong. I loved every second of this series.
So intellectual and fascinating
Everything you could want in a show. The characters and acting were top notch. It was so great to see the wonderful Rufus Sewell again and what a role he played, not knowing what he was going to do next.
She played her perfectly
Keri Russell was just great as the ambassador. I also really liked David Gyasi. All in all a wonderful show, maybe a little short but definitely worth watching.
The best political show since The West Wing
