Spinning that way doesn’t push or pull any air
Story
Men and women live in a giant underground silo with several regulations that they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world above ground. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in various episodes spin the wrong way, relative to the orientation of the blades.
Just my kind of show
Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows to Binge-Watch in 2023 (2023) I really liked Silo. I like mystery and suspense. I hadn’t read or heard of the books that Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting.
They don’t even know what stars are
The show takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The remaining 10,000 people live in a silo, and these people have never set foot outside the silo. They do know, however, that leaving the silo is fatal. Some people choose to leave to learn more, but they always die.
The acting is good, as is the character development
Those who remain in the silo can see through a window whenever someone wants to leave, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays the lead role, as Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what is happening outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying. However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are a few filler episodes. They probably could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but I don’t mind that much, as the series as a whole is very good.

I’m looking forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what is happening outside the silo! A new season of “Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
