Angelina Jolie and director Pablo Larraín discuss how they connect to the heartbreaking true story of world-renowned opera singer Maria Callas. Kennedy was the subject of a previous Pablo Larrain biography, the 2016 film Jackie, starring Natalie Portman.

Honestly, she was brilliant at acting. I just wasn’t sold on the singing parts. Still, the film was a great final chapter to Maria Callas’s much less sinister life.
However, it touches on many of the subtle moments that defined her career
She was a wonderful soul who was both highly regarded and admired for her talent. It depicts the last 7 days of her life and uses her journey as a flashback. She becomes so engrossed in it that she can no longer distinguish between her delusions and her true memories.
