At the age of 29, I experienced these historical moments firsthand while living in neighboring Yugoslavia, where the “revolution” took place. Therefore, this film was a must-see for me.

The events of the 1989 revolution are still shrouded in mystery, but Tudor Giurgiu did a great job of presenting most of the facts in a concrete way. The cast was exemplary and every line delivered was fluid, believable and appropriate to the historical context.
I sincerely hope this film gets the recognition it deserves, because it is a true masterpiece
This film effectively transports the viewer across a continuum of time and space, but more importantly, it delves into the psyche of the main characters and raises deep questions about the meaning of moral ethics and the ability to maintain integrity in a dystopian world full of corruption.
