Story
Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers never seen before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance. The filmmakers of the previous films have mentioned that they played both Sonikku Adobebenchâ 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). In the Sonic X television series, Professor Gerald Robotnik was killed by agents of G.U.N. But in this film, he was still alive and reunited with his grandson, Dr. Robotnik. Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Project Shadow is far beyond anything we’ve encountered. Shadow’s story began much like yours, Sonic.
