I liked the promise that society would be revealed as the true monster, rather than the people destroyed by it.
On the contrary, it should have been shown how, in such a brutal context, villainy and compassion are not so easily distinguishable
It isn’t a social critique when all evil is concentrated in a single arch-villain, while everyone else is excused due to their good intentions.
The tone was also somewhat off-more melancholic than anything else-leaving the viewer indifferent to what was happening on screen
