I’m sure this movie was made with great care and love, BUT what I missed most was BREATHING. Opera singers learn to control their breathing in order to charm our people. I agree with other, less favorable reviews that the first scene was indeed a bad example of lip syncing, especially since I couldn’t see Miss Jolie breathing! Of course, La Callas lived in luxury, but in my opinion, the emphasis in this film was more on the visual side. This is a film that made me stop watching until the end, and I regret it. I also had high hopes for these two iconic women. “One Hundred Years of Loneliness” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar to learn more!
