Story
The world’s most famous superhero and comic book journalist faces the challenges and difficulties of balancing work, justice and parental responsibilities in today’s society. The pilot episode pays homage to Action Comics #1 (Superman’s debut), featuring the hero in his original Golden Age costume. You can also see the famous green car from the cover. Superman flies past the WB logo and turns it into the DC Comics logo. Both the red and blue logos are located on the Kent farm. . I would give the first and second seasons a 9 out of 10, and the third only a 4 out of 10.
We finished the third season a few days ago and were very disappointed
The story of cancer dominated the entire season, and some liked it, but others found it unbearable. In each series, there are several scenes where only cancer is discussed, and in some series you don’t even see Superman, and if you do, it’s only fleetingly. But we watched it to the end and were relieved when Lex Luthor appeared at the end of the series, and he again began to resemble Superman more. We finished the third season and returned to the beginning of the first.
What a difference!
The first season is so beautiful; the action is great, the effects are great, the acting is great. It’s like a completely different TV series. We really hope that the old Superman and Lois will return in the fourth season. For us, as a cancer family (as for most others), season three just didn’t feel like Superman.
At times it was very depressing and not the escape from the “real world” that we need after a hard day’s work
