It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). I always tend to get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this cast really delivered and hit all the marks. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this as well. Great pacing, adequate suspense, plenty of comic relief. For once, I wasn’t expecting the twist ending and every plot point seemed to be resolved by the last episode. I really enjoyed it! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new fast-paced streaming world. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
