Films about history are good, but only if they tell the truth. Unfortunately, this film is based on false narratives. Old footage is framed by new footage, combined with a story that only highlights narratives designed to make the Nazis look bad and the Germans look cheated. It portrays people as unhappy, everything is set up just for propaganda purposes. The story about the Jews is baseless because it makes no sense compared to modern facts. The Jews were deliberately painted as enemies just to justify war and killing. It just doesn’t make sense. Because of this I stopped the movie 70% of the way through and asked for a refund.
